4. Episode and AI Mate Data
Your episode progress and conversations with AI mates are stored to maintain story continuity. This data is processed by our AI systems to generate contextually relevant dialogue and outcomes. We implement technical measures to protect your data. Note: AI-generated responses involve automated processing but do not constitute automated decision-making with legal effects under GDPR Article 22.
5. Data Retention
Your AI companion data is retained while your account is active. Conversation history is retained to enable continuous conversations. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Recipients
We share data with trusted third-party processors: (a) Google LLC - OAuth authentication; (b) Amazon Web Services / Cloud providers - data hosting and storage; (c) Anthropic / AI service providers - AI response generation (conversation data processed with privacy protections). All processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) ensuring GDPR-compliant data handling.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States and South Korea.
