1. The Service
Fastmate lets you play interactive story episodes with fictional AI characters ("Mates"), make choices that change how each story unfolds and ends, and continue conversations with those characters by text chat and real-time voice call. Story text, character dialogue, voice and outcomes are generated automatically by artificial intelligence based on your input and the character's design. You may also create your own characters ("creator mates") and, if you choose, publish them for other users. Stories include mature romantic and emotional themes intended for adults.
2. Age Requirement
Fastmate is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to use the service. By using Fastmate you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the service and will terminate accounts we believe belong to minors.
3. Your Account
You may use Fastmate as a guest tied to your device or sign in with Google or Apple, in the app or at fastmate.ai; one account carries your mates, coins and history across both. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Guest progress may be lost if you uninstall the app or change devices without signing in; we cannot guarantee recovery of guest data. You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing support@fastmate.ai.
4. Purchases, Coins and Subscriptions
Fastmate is free to download. Some stories, voice calls and features require coins or other paid items purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Coins are a limited, non-transferable license to use in-app features; they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and expire if your account is deleted. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refund requests must be made through the store where you bought them. Prices may change; changes do not affect purchases already made.
5. Your Content and License
You keep ownership of what you type or say to a character. You grant Fastmate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process and transmit that content, including to our AI providers, solely to operate, secure and improve the service. Conversations are not used to train third-party AI models. Story worlds, characters, artwork, voices and generated dialogue are owned by Fastmate or its licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
If you create a mate, you are responsible for its name, description, appearance and behavior, and you confirm you have the rights to anything you upload. By publishing a mate you grant Fastmate and other users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, run and interact with it inside the service. We may review, edit the visibility of, or remove any creator mate that violates these Terms, and we may keep published mates available after you delete your account unless you unpublish them first.
6. AI Characters Are Fiction
Mates are fictional characters generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, do not have feelings or intentions, and cannot give medical, legal, financial, psychological or safety advice. Anything a character says is entertainment, may be inaccurate, and should not be relied on for decisions. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
7. Acceptable Use
Fastmate allows mature romantic content between adult fictional characters. You may not use the service to: create or request sexual content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor; depict non-consensual violence or sexual violence as something to be pursued; impersonate real people; harass, threaten or defame anyone; obtain instructions for illegal acts; attempt to bypass safety systems; scrape, reverse-engineer or automate access to the service; or resell access. We may monitor conversations for safety and quality, and violations may lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or permanent termination.
8. Availability, Changes and Termination
We work to keep Fastmate available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove stories, characters and features, apply storage limits to conversation history, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using Fastmate at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including licenses to content already used, disclaimers and limitations of liability, survive.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Fastmate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fastmate and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from AI-generated content, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on fastmate.ai before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
Fastmate is operated from the United States. These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Fastmate's operating company is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@fastmate.ai and work with us in good faith for 30 days to resolve it informally. Any claim must be brought individually, not as part of a class action, where the law allows.
